When Jiang Xiaomin, a man from Tongcheng, Anhui province, found an identity card while visiting the park in Anqing, he thought that he had had a “double identity” from now on and it was more convenient to go out. But did not expect this identity card, so that he was subject to eight days of administrative detention.
At about 10 o'clock on the evening of November 13, the Longmen police station of the Tongcheng Public Security Bureau found out that Chen, a violating law officer, was staying at a hotel in Tongcheng. After receiving the alarm, the police immediately issued an alert and arrested Chen. However, what the police did not expect was that the “Chen” on the identity card was only 21 years old, and this person was almost 40 years old.
Under the careful checking and inquiries of the police, "Chen Mou" confessed that in October and November 2012, he repeatedly used the status of "Chen Mou" to stay at a hotel.
Jiang Xiaomin's fraudulent use of the ID card of another person violated the provisions of the first paragraph of Article 17 of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Identity Cards," and the public security organ legally imposed a penalty of a fine of 500 yuan on the 8th of its administrative detention.
