Changsha plans to build a monitoring platform for motor vehicle sewage networks next year. At that time, cameras will be installed on each test line at each inspection station, and the whole process of inspection can be seen at the EPA.

The person who provided this news was Cai Xianjun, director of the Changsha Mobile Exhaust Pollution Monitoring Center. Cai Xianjun said that he has submitted relevant application plans to the Changsha Municipal Government. Using the vehicle sewage network monitoring platform, each detection line of each inspection station will have a camera installed before and after it. The entire process of detection of each inspection line in the city can be seen in the EPA. At the same time, in the next stage, the traffic police department and environmental protection department will also strengthen the road sampling inspection work for exhausted vehicles, and establish a long-term mechanism for sampling inspection work.

Since January 4 this year, Changsha has fully resumed regular inspections of motor vehicle exhaust. As of June 9, the city's 17 motor vehicle exhaust testing stations conducted a total of 233,773 motor vehicle exhaust inspections, of which 1.6465 were unqualified, with a pass rate of 93%.
