Recently, Cobham SATCOM launched its new generation 60 cm Ka-band VSAT antenna system at the Monaco Yacht Show.
It is reported that the new SAILOR 60 GX and SAILOR 600 VSAT Ka antenna systems are based on the Global XpressTM satellite, the Telenor THOR 7 satellite high-throughput satellite (HTS) service International Maritime Satellite to the lightweight, high-performance Ka-band VSAT platform.
Sharing the same design and lightweight carbon fiber composite/aluminum construction, the SAILOR 60 GX and SAILOR 600 VSAT Ka antennas weigh 37 kg.
