The design life of boilers is 10-15 years, and many factors determine that the actual service life is not that long. Wall-hung boilers are precision instruments. If they can be effectively and scientifically maintained, their service life can be greatly extended.
Water and dirt problems
The electric heating boiler is a heating device, and the heat conversion efficiency directly affects the quality of the boiler. And even the best boilers will be affected by the water quality. It is well known that if the hardness of household water is too high, it is extremely prone to scale. Especially under the condition of hot water, the accumulated scale will adhere to the inner layer of the heat exchanger and the water pipeline, resulting in low heat exchange efficiency and even damage the boiler. As the scales thicken, the heat exchanger's pipeline will become narrower and narrower, causing poor water flow and stress on the water pump. The problem that ensues is that the wall-hung boiler consumes more air, the hot water is colder, the water quantity decreases, and the heat is slower.
So how should we deal with this scale? Our proposal is that it is better to use household water softener equipment, which can effectively extend the service life of the boiler (also useful for other water appliances, such as washing machines, soya-bean milk makers, and water heaters).
