GS -12 ethylbenzene dehydrogenation catalyst began its industrial application test at Guangzhou Petrochemical's 80 kt/yr styrene plant in January 2010. As of June 2012, the plant has been operating for 837 days, producing nearly 220,000 tons of qualified styrene The average daily output is 262.5 tons, and the average load is 103.3%. The industrial operation results show that GS-12 catalyst has the characteristics of large raw material processing capacity, high styrene selectivity, high ethylbenzene conversion rate, good anti-powdering performance, and long-term use stability.
