One of the most impressive impressions was that at the invitation of the Thai company, a large customer of a cement mixer that had recently purchased six Dongfeng Cummins ISD engines was purchased.
The location of the customer is 300 kilometers from Bangkok and it takes about 4 and a half hours. In order to arrive at the customer's location in time, I set off on time at 7:00 on the same day. After meeting with Futian personnel at the customer's office, we conducted a comprehensive physical examination of the 6 vehicles. The condition of the car was good.
God's reasonable demands must be met!
After reporting the results to the client, the user expressed gratitude for our work, but immediately put forward a new request: "It is really good! But we think the engine idle speed is a bit high, can you adjust it?"
When I came here, I was safe. After a brief discussion, I adjusted the idle speed of the six engines. Subsequently, the customer conducted a half-hour road test on the vehicle. After coming down from the car, the customer shook her head to us "We need more (not enough, we have to lower it some more)."
The customer is God, and God's reasonable demands must be met! After a thorough re-commissioning and road test, the customer finally nodded with satisfaction.
Wait a minute, our boss wants to see you!
Just when we think we can finally return to work, the customer said that their big boss wants us to wait a little longer. So, after more than two hours, we finally waited for the big boss who was late.
When we didn't think of it, the boss turned out to be an "old driver". When I came to the scene and simply chilled with us, I climbed into the cab of the cement mixer. After he personally tested the car, we got the new request from God: "We need more!"
However, our previous adjustments have adjusted the idle speed to the lower limit. If it is lowered again, it seems to be fuel-efficient. However, the actual low idle speed will cause the engine to burn insufficiently, and it will easily form carbon deposits, which will affect the service life of the engine. .
I tried to explain to the boss and showed the company's workbook to the client, but the boss didn't buy it. He insisted on his own experience of driving for many years, and said that he would also repair the car himself, or he could manually adjust the idling speed...

God is stubborn, and the frontal breakthrough is difficult. We can only consider returning to combat. After repeated negotiations, we finally made a compromise: "Between your requirements, we can transfer one of the six cars to the idle speed you requested. But after the vehicle has been running for a while, let's come together again. Look at the engine oil and filter, compare the difference between this car and the rest of the vehicle."

Due to language barriers, patient communication is also needed. However, it is not the glorious mission of our frontline personnel to overcome difficulties and break up.
Yes, it is true that the overseas market is very different. As a pioneer in opening up overseas markets, we need to work harder and sweat. However, is this not the spirit of our Dongkang people?
