The “five small†enterprises are completely banned; all 130 industrial enterprises in the urban area will be relocated and upgraded in different places; and 25 key industrial governance projects will be completed within a limited time. Through the elimination, relocation and treatment of industrial pollution, this year will achieve a reduction of 4,000 tons of soot emissions, 41,000 tons of sulfur dioxide, and 30,000 tons of nitrogen oxides.
At the same time, Lanzhou City will implement the cogeneration and clean energy transformation of more than 800 existing and 5000 tons of coal-fired boilers in the city within three years in accordance with the principle of “every coal must be changed and reforms should be implementedâ€. Implementation of a 2×330MW unit of Fandian Power Plant of Guodian and a 2×350MW unit of “Shangmao Small Press†2×350MW unit of Guodian Thermal Power Plant, which significantly reduced the emissions of coal-fired pollutants. This year, through the treatment of coal-fired boilers, Lanzhou City will save 1.15 million tons of coal, reduce smoke and dust emissions by 3,312 tons and sulfur dioxide by 125,000 tons.
