China and Taiwan are working together to develop LED (light-emitting diode) lighting standards. The China National Certification and Accreditation Administration and the Taiwan Standards Inspection Bureau are in the process of formulating LED lighting standards in Greater China. It is expected to become the industry standard for Taiwan LED lighting suppliers to enter the Chinese mainland and drive the booming LED lighting industry across the Taiwan Strait.
In August of this year, the Taiwanese industry and research community held a conference on the convergence of LED and lighting standards in Taiwan, and passed five "Intelligent Lighting System Standards", which is the first common standard in the lighting system industry in Taiwan.
