China Drying Network News China National Petroleum Corporation announced on the 21st that on December 17th, the PSP-01, a polypropylene catalyst independently developed by the PetroChina Research Institute of Petroleum and Chemical Industry, was formally put into use by Dalian Petrochemical's 200,000-ton polypropylene plant. This achievement is PetroChina's first polypropylene catalyst technology with completely independent intellectual property rights and provides powerful technical support for the development of high-end, high-value-added polypropylene products by refining companies.
Polypropylene Catalyst PSP-01 is a fourth-generation high-efficiency carrier catalyst using the new electron donor technology. It has the characteristics of good hydrogen sensitivity, excellent copolymerization performance, uniform particle size of the polymerization product, and low fines content, and it has reached the international advanced level as a whole.
In this industrialization application, the polypropylene catalyst PSP-01 produced smoothly under the production load of 25 tons/hour, and the product material properties and key indexes all reached the product quality standards. The target grade for this application production is BOPP special material T36F which Dalian Petrochemical has highly recognized in the domestic market.
