The Shenhua Group's Wuhai Xilaifeng 180,000-ton/year porous ammonium nitrate project was started in Shenhua Xilaifeng Circular Economy Industrial Park in Hainan District, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia. The project uses Shenhua Wuhai Energy Corporation's coke oven gas to produce methanol and the air separation plant to produce porous ammonium nitrate. The design scale is: 100,000 tons/year of synthetic ammonia, 150,000 tons/year of ammonium nitrate, and 180,000 tons/year of porous ammonium nitrate. The investment scale is 779 million yuan.
