On September 11, Shenyang Rail Transit Electric Equipment Manufacturing Base held a celebration ceremony for completion and production. Zhao Changyi, director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, attended the ceremony and announced that Shenyang Rail Transit's electrical equipment manufacturing base was officially completed and put into operation. Shenyang Rail Transit Electric Equipment Manufacturing Base was built by Shenyang CSR Times Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd. under China South Locomotive Co., Ltd. in the Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone and covers an area of ​​more than 30,000 square meters. At the beginning of construction of the Shenyang Metro Project, the Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government proposed to rely on the subway project to speed up the development of the city’s subway equipment industry, and while actively supporting and nurturing local enterprises to participate in subway construction, a new metro industrial park was established. The company introduced leading companies in the field of rail transit equipment manufacturing to invest and set up factories in Shenyang. Through the combination of introduction, digestion, absorption, and independent innovation, it has promoted the continuous development of Shenyang's subway equipment industry structure and technology level. Shenyang CSR Times Transport Equipment Co., Ltd. is one of the first companies to settle in the Shenyang Metro Industrial Park.
