Strong combination! Yuchai signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jinlong for new energy products

On January 8, 2018, Yuchai shares a strategic cooperation with Xiamen Golden Dragon Automotive Group Co., Ltd. on new energy products. Wu Qiwei, president of Yuchai, and Xie Siyu, president of Jinlong Group, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both companies.

The cooperation will focus on high-end fuel-efficient hybrid power systems, pure electric drive systems and fuel cells and other high-end areas, give full play to Yuchai's strong power technology reserves and a comprehensive marketing service network, and Jinlong Group's outstanding vehicle development control capabilities. Advantages, achieve strong alliances, and seize opportunities in the highly competitive new energy bus market.

Yuchai took over the "National 863 Major Plan Special Project" - "Passenger Mid-range Hybrid Powertrain" project as early as in 2008, and began research and development of new energy systems. After nearly 10 years of development, Yuchai has developed, produced and sold the hybrid powertrain assembly and the pure electric system assembly. The products cover commercial vehicles, special vehicles and other fields.
