Henan Tianguan Group's 10,000-ton fiber ethanol project passed the national acceptance on December 21, 2011.
Henan Tianguan Group started the key technology research of fiber ethanol in 1997. Over the past 15 years, it has developed a complete and systematic key fiber ethanol technology with completely independent intellectual property rights, and independently designed and built a domestic largest 10,000-ton straw fiber. Ethanol production equipment has been operated smoothly, and all technological and economic indicators are at the domestic advanced level. Some of the indicators have reached the world's advanced level. This morning, the National Energy Board organized an expert appraisal committee to consider that the project has achieved the classification and utilization of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin in corn straw and wheat straw. It is recommended that the State support cellulosic ethanol production technologies that can be widely applied.
